Zero Pod Living

20Aug12

This wonderful little thing is an easily assembled home (takes about half a day) that can go just about anywhere since it needs no foundation or even flat ground for that matter. The pod, designed by Japan’s DCW, can sleep three people as the sofa sleeps two and by removing the sofa’s backrest a “second floor” can be created where an additional person could sleep. The largest pod will be just under 6′ wide so you will really need to like the people you are sharing the space with. The real beauty of the Zero Pod is that you need no special vehicle to transport it, all 40 pieces are lightweight and can be taken apart and reassembled at your fancy.    pb
