Furniture Designer: Sylvie Rosenthal

Sylvie Rosenthal has won many commissions and awards for her designs in the field of Woodworking and was listed as an “emerging talent” by Woodworking Magazine. She studied woodworking and furniture design at Rochester Institue of Technology’s School for American Crafts, served as an assistant at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, and was invited to continue her studies under Wendy Maruyama at San Diego State University. When you visit her website you will see that she refers to her work as “Furniture, Contraptions, and Art Objects” she also has some pretty good taste in bourbon too.    pb
