Art: Negative Space by Noma Bar

02Jun12

We all look at hundreds if not thousands of images everyday and, for the most part, totally ignore the “negative space” especially in the graphic arts field.  I recently saw the FedEx logo that highlighted the arrow that I had never noticed and probably never would have. Graphic designer Noma Bar has created these wonderful illustrations in which he manipulates the negative space around various shapes some with great irony.   pb

  1. the Vulcanianly greeting Mr. Spock, the sniffling dog, the dancer’s audience, and the elephant’s mouse hole are really funny ideas in a nutshell. 😀
