The Neo Nursery
04Oct12
Today’s modern nursery could be mistaken for yet another stylish interior at first glance, until you spot the crib. The pastel baby blue or pink rooms of old are becoming quite rare, gone are the rooms that would have to be redecorated in a couple of years time. These are rooms that can adapt and grow with the child. Many nurseries now sport mid-century lighting or chandeliers, elegant furnishings, and sophisticated accessories. Wallpaper, murals, and rugs are also quite popular as they offer a way to inject fun pattern and color into the room. This change is due to the fact that many new parents want the nursery to reflect the same vibe as the rest of their home as well as serve as an interesting space for their growing child. pb
