“Bright and Breezy” is the appropriate title given to this home by New England Home magazine. Designed by the talented Jan Hiltz, the central color scheme of yellow, aqua, and navy blue is intermingled throughout creating a wonderful “flow” to the home. Hiltz also used all of the owners existing pieces because as she explains “It can’t all be new. It wouldn’t have any personality if it was.” While creating the elegant but approachable interior she also kept fabrics and furniture “kid friendly” by using indoor/outdoor fabrics and other man-made fibers that can stand up to the wear and tear of regular family use.
