Zwierzę Dom (Animal House)
07Aug12
Found on Contemporist, this small apartment. located in Krakow, Poland, is home to a couple, both medical students/animal lovers, and was designed by Morpho Studio. The apartment’s minimalist and monochromatic style is relieved by pops of color, varying textures, and then there is the animal motif. Note the rat graphic above, the ostrich console, bird nest ceiling fixture, the cat graphic in the bathroom, and the rabbit lamp in the bedroom. I have to admit, the purist in me also appreciates the fact that their live pets also follow the monochromatic palette. Just sayin’. pb
