Moving? Don’t Forget Your House!
My last post covered the topic of large, grandiose houses for dogs, now we move on to really small houses for people, some you can pull along to most any destination or simply plant on your plot of land. These and many others are available from Tumbleweed Tiny House Company. You can choose plans offering from 65 square feet up to 884 square feet and some are much less expensive than the aforementioned dog houses. Plans are available to build on your own, but they will also send homes you can build from a kit or they will build it for you. Three house categories are available, Box Bungalows, Houses to Go, and Cottages. Founder Jay Shafer has lived in only 89 square feet since 1987. Why? “To reduce the impact a larger home would have on the environment.” Environmentally friendly and adorable, what more could you ask for? pb
