Laurent Chehere‘s Flying Houses series focuses on houses and apartment buildings floating in the air with no environment other than the sky. Maybe they gently disconnected from the earth and are tethered only by power, telephone, and cable lines like really large balloons. One has to wonder what will happen to the people inside them and, more importantly, how will they get that laundry? Interestingly enough, the only building not connected is the burning building which shows snapped lines and ladder. pb
