What better way to while away the afternoon than relaxing with a good book in a chaise lounge?  Correctly spelled chaise longue, we here in the U.S. have misspelled it as lounge for so long that it is no longer deemed incorrect, so we’ve got that going for us, but back to the chaise. The first chaise was created in ancient Egypt and is the combination of daybed/sofa and chair. Ancient Greek art shows the gods and goddesses resting on chaises. Since then we have seen almost every style imaginable. The collection below range from the sleek and comfy to strange and not so much. You be the judge.   pb
