Turquoise
25Feb12
The meaning of the color turquoise is open communication and clarity of thought. A blend of blue and green, shades of turquoise have the same calming effects of both those colors, much as the sea. Turquoise is used in all areas of the medical field due to it’s calming effect on patients. Ranging from sky blue to deep greenish blues, it also represents water, thus the names aqua and aquamarine. Pale shades of the color can have a feminine air while teal has a more masculine feel. You can use a little to test the waters or dive in and paint an entire room, whichever appeals to you. pb
